While out on errands the other day I noticed that most of the carts being pushed around the store contained mostly processed foods. These foods are one of the main culprits stealing our health!
Switching to real food (un-proccessed) can be intimidating at first, and honestly if took more than a year for us to get sorted out and eating healthy everyday, not occasionaly. It takes consistancy to get there, checking all ingredient labels when purchasing items and the strength to put that product back to look for an alternative. Proccessed foods contain all kinds of extra inngredients that real/whole foods do not. Learning what all these additives/fillers/extenders and preservatives are is a start.
The number one additive used which does the most damage over a lifetime is sugar. Seems it’s in everything nowadays, have our taste buds been highjacked that we crave sugar with every meal? Eliminating that one ingredient in your diet will improve your health 10 fold. No, the artificial sweetners are just as bad if not worse for a number of people. We use honey as our main sweetener and organic maple surup on rare occasions if honey will not work or is unavailable.
Check your cupboards or go online to your local grocer, find a product you buy and look up the ingredients, research them with AI and ask what health issues can be caused by these chemicals.
